 Kevin Fenster - Pastor

Pastor of Immanuel since June 22, 2008. Kevin received a B.A. in Psychology with a specialty in Alcohol and Drug Studies from Seattle University in 1993. After some years driving Metro Transit part-time and volunteering in the Chemical Dependency field, Kevin earned several certifications in Information Technology and worked as a Network Administrator before finally yielding to attend seminary. He received a Master’s of Divinity from Concordia Seminary St. Louis, MO in 2008.

Kevin is happily married to Deann since 1992. They have three children. If you ask him what he does he will say, “I pray, I read, I write and I talk to people.” He cherishes time with his family, loves to play guitar and sing. In Sandy, you might catch him acting in a production at The Sandy Actor’s Theatre or volunteering somewhere hoping to meet new friends and play a small part in making our community a better place to live.

Kim Carpenter - Preschool Director

 Kim began at Immanuel as a parent volunteer in 1989 and began teaching as an assistant in 1991. She became director in 2008.

Kim is married to John, they have two sons. She enjoys gardening, camping, reading, walking her two yellow labs and her hobby farm.
