Immanuel Enrichment Center's After School Program

Quality Care and Enrichment for Children

At Immanuel Enrichment Center (IEC), we are delighted to offer an exceptional After School Program designed to provide high-quality, Oregon Licensed after-school care right here in Sandy. Our dedicated team comprises experienced educators and parents who are deeply committed to ensuring a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for your child. We're not just here to watch over your child; we're here to support their growth, development, and education. Additionally, during the summer months, we provide all-day care to meet the needs of working families.

Program Highlights

Our After School Program offers flexible options with rates set at $8.00 per hour, and we extend a 50% discount on the registration fee for families with multiple children enrolled. Leading our program is Katy Rees, our Director/Lead Teacher, who brings a wealth of educational experience, including a B.S. in Elementary Education from OSU. Amanda Knight, our Substitute Director/Teacher, holds an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education and Psychology and is an invaluable member of our team. Additionally, we have Chris Daniels, Michelle Holmes, Lina Fleming, and Tara Timm, dedicated team members who contribute their enthusiasm and childcare expertise.

Our Vision

We believe in providing more than just supervised playtime. Our vision is to create enriching experiences for your child, facilitated by screened individuals from the Sandy community, all tailored to your child's unique interests and developmental needs.

What We Offer for Your Child:

Our program is designed to engage, inspire, and nurture your child's growth in a variety of ways:

Educational Support: We offer dedicated homework time with assistance available in Math, English, Writing, and Reading. Our goal is to help your child excel academically.

Enriching Activities: Beyond homework, we provide enriching experiences to fuel your child's creativity and curiosity. From arts and crafts to science experiments, we ensure that learning is fun and exciting.

Social Interaction: Your child will have the opportunity to build friendships and social skills through group activities and playtime with peers.

Nutritious Snacks: We offer nutritious snacks to keep your child energized and ready to tackle their afternoon activities. The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) is a Federal program that sets nutritional standards and provides reimbursement for healthy snacks to eligible child care centers.
